Welcome to The Wesleyan Christian Academy
The WCA is a private Christian School and is a ministry of, and are owned by The Wesleyan Church of South Africa.
The curriculum will follow the prescribed National Department of Education Syllabus, CAPS, supported by a structured Bible Programme and presented in English. Our teaching focuses on the personal, spiritual, emotional, physical, creative and intellectual development and well-being of our children, also trying to inculcate knowledge and understanding of the world and various cultures around us. We further endeavour as far as it is within our ability to guide and assist our children according to their individual ability, giftedness and developmental stage.
The school is situated on the grounds of The Pretoria Wesleyan Church and WCA Play Center and Pre Primary School in Garsfontein, near the Menlyn Node. Children of other denominations are welcome.
We currently run from Grade R to Grade 6, and will open Grade 7 next year.
The school is governed by a management board made up of Wesleyan Church Representatives and staff members.
